I'm in between Ellen McArthur and Jeremy Clarkson. Has he ever actually sailed a boat?

my2fish: If you can track down Buff Staysail you can claim one of his classic "Total B.S." t-shirts.

Patrick: Clarkson might not have used a sail but he has been on the water a lot including:
- in the cross London race he used a speedboat with a beeping big engine
- in the cross Channel amphibian race, in a pick up truck with a beeping big outboard engine
- recently this series, racing Hammond down Lake Como with a quad bike / jetski with a beeping big engine
- in the last series, in the Hovervan, a van with a, er, beeping big engine to make it hover on water in case the Thames floods again.

BTW: the Thames has flood again.

BTW in the above, the word "beeping" doesn't describe the sound the engine makes
