I have slept at the Angel and Royal in Grantham, reportedly one of the oldest inns in the country. King John stayed there in 1213 and Richard III signed the Duke of Buckingham's Death Warrant there.
Is it the Angel in Rotherhithe? It doesn't look quite like the pictures online but maybe this is a view from another angle. And you have been posting about a riverside walk recently.
