  3. Cheese and gherkin are right, but lime juice is not the drink I was thinking of

  4. A clue: there's a historical angle for the final building.

  5. Yes! The building is Lloyds which was started in Lloyds Coffee House:

  6. Hoisting the protest flag, that's a tenuous connection, the coffee shop was originally in Tower St, then Lombard St long before LLoyds moved to Cornhill. or maybe I'm taking this all a bit too seriously and should take up rs Areo sailing

  7. I think you should take up RS Aero sailing on the grounds that the judges decision is final etc etc etc small print etc etc I blame Buff etc etc

    As I paused on the corner taking photos of these buildings the three things that popped into my head were:
    - Cheese grater building => cheese
    - Gherkin building => gherkins
    - Lloyds building => coffee

    Might just be me of course but then the judges decision is final etc etc etc small print etc etc I blame Buff etc etc. But then again, why the RS Aero? Might you be susceptible to influencer marketing?

    Hmmm... there might be a post there somewhere.

  8. Ha ha. I almost submitted the answer of "coffee" for the third building on the grounds (no pun intended) that it looks a bit like a coffee pot. But then I decided that that couldn't possibly be right.

    And Bursledon Blogger should definitely take up RS Aero sailing. He's practically at ground zero for RS Aero sailing. RS Sailing's world HQ is only about 15 miles up the road from him and Lymington - the home of what is probably the biggest RS Aero fleet in the UK - is only about 30 miles away.

  9. And BB met the guru of RS Aero sailing, Peter Barton, and blogged about it at Aero.

  10. That corner of the Lloyds building looks like a coffee percolator to me too.

    I must see if I can see an Aero on the Thames - there must be one somewhere.
