No Cash, No Splash, a film about Thames Boat Yards


I could tell you what I thought about this film but its a lot simpler just to say I found it fascinating so suggest you give it a watch.

It was put together and shown as part of the Totally Thames festival back in September.

    I'm not a one for sitting down for 48 minutes to watch a youtube vid, but I did for this one - absolutely fascinating!

    Yes, it was brilliant! I had a chat with Mark Edwards at the Richmond Bridge Boathouse (just posted) and it was fascinating listening to him and thought this would make a great aural history. Fortunately the Thames Festival are going to put their interviews and photos on their web site so it will be available on record.
