Why, thank ye' kindly. It looks like a Thames Waterman's Cutter - only five rowers, so clearly someone failed to turn up that evening. Can't read the name on the bow - can you enlarge the original and make it out?

Have you noticed what they've done to compensate for the missing crew?
I see they have three girls rowing on one side and two hefty blokes on the other side.
Thanks Chris. Alas didn't have the zoom lens to hand so this is as good as it gets.
And yes, rather an interesting way to balance the crew.
