Good stuff about not stopping by the MI6 building as they get twitchy (alas I already did that when hunting for rowing pictures) and not going out when its been pouring with rain (like, er, yesterday and overnight) for reasons best left unsaid (search for the bubbler).
The photo above is from earlier this year when the weather was much, much nicer!

Looks great! I should do a European tour someday - London, Venice, there must be somebody running paddling trips on the Seine...ah, pipe dreams.

There are companies that do kayaking tours of the Thaems and I saw a similar company in Melbourne so why not in Paris?
Alternatively you could go kayaking with one of the many clubs - at the PBCC the Thursday paddle is open to new comers.
