Picture puzzle: what, where, why?

Tillerman said...

What? A sculpture in wood by the Swiss artist Daniel Berset, constructed by the carpenter Louis Genève. It is 39 feet high.

Where? Across the street from the Palace of Nations, in Geneva.

Why? It symbolises opposition to land mines and cluster bombs.

I would like to thank all the little people that helped me win this quiz, and especially my Mum and my wikipedia.

O'Docker - very good, especially given the link between Gulliver's Travels and William Dampier
