He is not alone, I have a Turkey problem. Every time I go to the station heading for the office and work while standing in the rain waiting for a train I see a picture like the one above, with the enticing slogan "Visit Turkey".
It's not helped by a London weather forecast that leaves a lot to be desired:

jp - I hear ya about the weather! we got dumped on with another 6 or 8 inches of snow last night and today. add to that - my wife is dropping hints that she needs a trip "somewhere warm" this year for our 10-year wedding anniversary. not sure what this has to do with turkeys, though.

Sounds like she's got the right idea to be honest ;)
It must get better soon, the dafs are beginning to show.....
So foul and fowl a day I have not seen.
I need to be at that exact place right now, with a fruity cocktail in hand.
The year I lived in England, I found February to be especially depressing. I readily understood why anybody who was able would take a holiday during that month to Egypt or someplace similarly warm and sunny.
Nice one O'Docker! :)
Yup, lot to be said for a trip somewhere sunny with a fruit cocktail nearby. At work we put in a bid for some work in Australia but alas looks like no joy there :(
