Is that the park by the river just up from the rowing clubs at Putney? Can't remember the name but there is a great little cafe that sells a mean bacon sarnie.
I know the one you mean, and the last one is from its entrance.
The trees and avenue are in Wandsworth Park.
These are absolutely stunning - especially the last three! (I keep expecting to see Mr. Tumnus with an umbrella and an armful of packages standing beyond that gate :)

It was very Narnia like - and lovely sense of community as everyone was grinning at each other.
It was also interestingly rather mono-chrome.
