It wasn't only sailing - the Swedes are into all forms of outdoor activities. It was a shame only had a short time there as could easily have spend the rest of the week in idyllic Saltsjobaden.
I was going to caption this as "The Swan of Tuonela" but found out on Wikipedia that this was of course a Finnish legend. The Sibelius piece of that name was originally an overture for an opera called "The building of the boat" so maybe there is a sailing connection somewhere.Also wanted to see some Stindbergs having seen them at the Tate, but again no time.
Must go back another time - a seriously nice place to visit and I dare say live.
