SAC: The Drangajokull Glacier

The first time I saw the Drangajokull glacier I thought it was a cloud, it was that white.

Couple of double-takes later it flicked into recognition. It is the 5th largest in Iceland, covering 160 - 200 square km.

Alas its not one of those that dramatically drop chunks of ice into the sea, but was still pretty impressive anyhow.

Wow what wonderful weather better than the incessant rain we have in Sheffield. Love the pictures.
